In order to submit import and export declarations through Declaron you must first appoint Declaron as your customs agent and you must advise Revenue of this fact. Revenue require you do this, regardless of whom you choose to represent you. If you do not advise Revenue that you have appointed us as your customs agent, your declarations will be rejected and your shipments will be delayed.

There are five simple steps to completing this process.

Step 1: You must download the Revenues's Customs and Excise Clearance Agent.

Step 2: Fill out the form with your details. We've filled in our details already.

Step 3: Submit this form to Revenue. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1: The quickest way to do this is to submit the form through Revenue's MyEnquires. (see below)

Open a new Enquiry (see below)

Complete the details, attach the completed Customs and Excise Clearance Agent Form, and submit the enquiry. (see below)

Option 2: You can email the completed Customs and Excise Clearance Agent Form to ecustoms@revenue.ie.

Step 4: Very important: Once you receive confirmation from Revenue, please advise Declaron by emailing support@declaron.ie or opening a chat message.

Processing of the form online can take up to 5 days. You need to have this done before you submit your first declaration.
