BR3182 is the result of a missing or invalid Economic Operator Identification and Registration (EORI) number. Most commonly, we see this error with the incorrect use of a GB EORI in import declarations. As the UK (Great Britain) is no longer in the EU, GB EORI numbers are no longer valid.

To solve this problem on Declaron, simply do not use the GB EORI# and instead use the exporter's name and address. See below an example where a trader has selected “No” to the question, "Do you have an EU EORI Number for the Exporter". This is the correct way for details to be submitted.

If you are submitting what you believe to be a valid EU EORI number, you can check the number by using the EU Commission's, online EORI number validation service here
